Antique shell shaped asparagus plate. Produced in the late 19th century in Stoke-on-Trent England by William Alsager Adderley and Company for the French market. The PAX pattern featured birds and flowers. The center asparagus spears were hand painted. The embedded word "Ivory" is on the underside.
The plate measures about 8 1/2 x 9 inches.
