The intricate design … Read more Antique Bohemian Green Iridescent Rippled Art Glass Vase with a Metal Collar in a grape leaf motif. The intricate design of the vase and its metal top making it a captivating piece. The light catches the ripples in the glass and produces an iridescent effect.. The collar has developed a rich patina, but would have a golden brass tone if polished. The vase was manufactured in the early 1900's.
The vase measures 9" in height, 4" in width and 2.75" from front to back. The top opening measures 3.5" by 2.5". the vase is in very good condition for its' age. The top metal piece, which was probably glued on originally, can now be detached. The bottom of the vase shows shelf wear which is consistent with its' age.
This vase was purchased a couple of years ago at a reputable estate auction. It was labeled Loetz, but I have come to doubt that Loetz was the manufacturer. See less
