A very charming antique vanity box for jewelry, cosmetics and trinkets
Beutiful wavy scrolled shape, well elaborated
It is all hand crafted with the obvious intention to resemble the more expensive imported boxes, lined with exotic veneers
Sponge painted with dark over light brown over beige
The interior is lined with pink silk & twisted edging ribbon
A rectangular mirror in mounted at the lid
Circa 1800's, found in New England
Measurements: Approximately 9.5" x 5" x 3" overall
It weighs 1 lb. 9 oz.
Condition: Good /Very Good overall. Please see photos. There is a small hole to the fabric at the corner of the interior, seemingly burned by some brown chemical material. All original
