A striking piece of mid-century atomic art pottery from Shawnee Pottery’s upscale "Kenwood" line, circa 1950s. This vase features an organic, biomorphic tricorn (three-sided) undulating shape in the highly collectible "Stardust" pattern.
The dramatic exterior boasts a heavily textured confetti/lava splatter glaze in black and pale pink, providing a stunning contrast to the smooth, glossy pastel pink interior.
Marked "Kenwood USA" on the base (mold number 2013). A perfect atomic statement piece for a Mid-Century Modern credenza, mantel, or shelving display.
