A captivating piece of Italian craftsmanship, this early-to-mid 20th century alabaster lamp features a heraldic eagle with dramatically spread wings and detailed talon work, carved from grey-veined alabaster with neoclassical flair. The eagle supports a large spherical shade in warm honey alabaster that glows a rich amber when lit — a stunning effect that showcases the stone’s natural translucency. The figure rests on a rectangular veined alabaster plinth. Glass eye detail adds a lifelike finishing touch. No chips, cracks, or repairs.
