The hoop back is formed with turned spindles and a shaped central splat, giving it that unmistakable early Windsor character, while the gently curved arms and well-proportioned stance make it both decorative and practical.
The seat is nicely shaped in solid elm with a rich, warm tone and attractive grain, raised on turned legs united by a crinoline stretcher for strength.
