Beautiful early 20th century serpentine shaped chest of drawers with flame mahogany drawer fronts which are accented with banded satinwood inlays. Georgian in style, this 5-drawer chest is flanks with interesting carved reeded accents along sides and top. Finishes are excellent with no fading and only one very small veneer loss in satinwood inlay. Dresser comes with custom cut glass top. Surface of dresser is in perfect condition. In all original condition.
Chest made in Tell City, Indiana by a fine quality furniture maker of the day known as T.C.F. Co. whose manufacturing history can be found online.
Seller Note: We actually have a pair of these dressers and they are identical. Only difference is one does not have the specially made glass top.
