The legs and horizontal base supports are made of segments of wood separated by brass which gives it the faux bamboo appearance. The three metal rectangular supports at the top are of brass. The finials on top at each corner are of brass and unscrew to make the 1/2" glass removable.

Crafted in France circa 1950, and attributed to Maison Baguès in Paris, this elegant brass and wood table is both useful and stylish.
