Vintage Showa Era Japanese Byobu (folding screen) depicts Mountain Landscape With Pine Trees, on gold background, in Chinese Style. Signed and sealed by artist. Watercolor and ink on silk over paper. Silk border. Lacquered black wood frame with engraved copper corners, plaques and medallions. Paper on back. Japan, Showa Era, circa 1960-1970s. Good condition - some age wear overall, two small repairs on the first and second panels (image #13), not very visible repairs on paper back, strong joints, clean, sturdy.
