Colorful and whimsical hand painted galletto silhouettes grace the center of each of these dessert plates from the Vietri “Galletto” Collection, a collection that debuted in 1999 and was retired in 2004. Together, the four dessert plates weigh 3 lbs. 3 oz. and measure 7½” x 7½” x 1” W/D/H, apiece. Each plate was individually hand painted which results in subtle variations in color and brushwork that reflect the natural flow of the artist’s hand and the amount of paint applied. These nuances are not imperfections but hallmarks of true craftsmanship, making every plate uniquely beautiful. Should you wish to hang the plates as decorative wall accents, there is one hole on the back rim of each plate which will allow you to do so. In excellent condition with no visible wear. Makers stamp and label on the underside of each plate. Made in the town of Vietri sul Mare, a municipality in the province of Salerno, in the Italian region of Campania, Italy.
