This lovely set of vintage nesting tables were made by Baker Furniture in the Federal Revival style, between 1940-1950, based on maker's mark. The shield-shaped top of each table is made with a stunning, highly-figured mahogany veneer, accented by a light-colored string inlay border. The legs are slender and tapered, and have a delicate curved apron with decorative ear brackets.

They … moreThese nesting tables are in excellent structural condition with no damage to the wood that would compromise their utility. They slide easily in and out and there is no wobbling. The top of the larger table is in nearly perfect condition, with no stains or damage the veneer. There is a bit of varnish irregularity, which is only visible upon close inspection. The lower table top has a couple of circular stains that have been varnished over (a bit roughly) but the wood itself has no damage. There is better-than-customary wear/dings on the legs. less
