Known primarily for … Read more Amy Sabrina (1956–2013) was a nationally recognized, listed American ceramic artist and potter based in Dalbo, Minnesota.

Known primarily for her whimsical, hand-painted earthenware and functional pottery, her work is archived and collected by several major institutions, including the Minneapolis Institute of Art (Mia) and the Northern Clay Center. She also received prestigious fellowships from both the McKnight Foundation and the Minnesota State Arts Board.

This piece comes from a collectors estate that went to auction in Minneapolis. The design features hand-painted illustrations of a happy and sad face over a light canary-yellow base. 5-inches tall by 4.25-inches wide. Signed Amy S. 1999.

Excellent condition – no damage or repairs; museum quality.
