A beautiful pair of hand painted, 24" tall balluster form Imperial Yellow Dragon vases.
Warm yellow ground with blue, green, black and brown enamelled scaled dragons having the all important 5 clawed feet. They swirl amongst multi coloured flowers such as chrysanthemums and peonies. Each dragon has its own expression!
Bordered by upper and lower lappet and ruyi borders in turquoise, dark blue and pink.
Each stamped on the underside with red square chop. Qianlong Period.
Age between 1940-1960's.
Very good condition.
