This is a gorgeous antique brass candlestick or chamberstick.
Features a turned baluster stem, wide circular drip pan, and stepped round base. Crafted in polished brass with aged patina and light verdigris consistent with age. The candle socket includes a side opening, likely for a push-up ejector mechanism. Simple early utilitarian design typical of late 19th to early 20th century English or American household candlesticks.
