Both stylistically modern and compositionally classic, Erte's work (1892-1990) is revered around the world for its originality and thought provoking subject matter. "Ficelle" is a limited edition lithograph on paper. It is hand signed by the artist on the lower right and is numbered 225 in pencil out of this limited edition size of 300 lithographs from 1976. This piece comes in a black frame with gold trim and is ready to hang.
The complete lithograph measures 23" X 19". The exposed part of the lithograph (excluding the mat) measures 13 1/2" X 10 5/8".
