Gold … Read more Lovely original pale blue painted surface and gilded details on this 18th Century Venetian accent chair. Sturdy and usable. Gold paterae decorate this chair, complementing the neoclassical design of scrolled arms and fluted legs. Original, remarkably gorgeous patina throughout. The soft white silk upholstery, while not original, has significant age as well. This is evidenced by the iron upholstery nails, pictured.

The back of the chair is largely unpainted, allowing one to appreciate the bones of this piece. Iron hooks swivel to hold the removable back piece in place. See less
