There are wall hanging hooks on the back so they can be prominently displayed. The plates are hand painted, featuring detailed botanical illustrations of mushrooms in an earthy palette and a vibrant blue trim. Though Bassano has been known for craftsmanship since the Renaissance, this charming collection was popularized in the 1970s. The Bassano logo is on the back of each plate along with the store sticker they were originally bought from, Rigattieri in Venice, (St. Mark's Squre), Italy. See less
