An elegant early 20th century millefiori murrine art glass vase attributed to Fratelli Toso, Murano, Italy, circa 1900–1925. The refined amphora form with elongated applied handles corresponds to documented examples illustrated in Leslie Piña’s Fratelli Toso reference volume (pp. 32–33).
Constructed from densely fused polychrome murrine canes and finished with a rare acid-etched matte surface, the vase possesses a luminous satin texture seldom encountered in later tourist production. Tiny dark inclusions visible within the glass are original manufacturing remnants from the early Murano process and support authenticity.
A sophisticated and highly collectible example of Venetian art glass with exceptional presence, balancing delicacy, structure, and surface complexity.
