Both chairs retain the original Risom Design Inc. foil label and stamped model tag on the underside (see photos).
Solid sculpted walnut frames with the elegant, tapered joinery that defines Risom's mid-century work — slim arms cantilevered off angled stiles, exposed stretchers, and softly rounded edges throughout. The original three-button tufted backs and boxed seats are in their as-found upholstery, with rich honey patina, natural creasing, and the kind of age that can't be faked. Frames are structurally sound and sit solidly.
