Excellent vintage condition. No damage or crazing. This Italian platter was made in Bassano del Grappa which is a historic town in Veneto, northern Italy (approximately 80 km northwest of Venice), renowned for its wooden bridge, grappa distilleries, and scenic Alpine backdrop. Created by hand by the master ceramists of our Bassano del Grappa workshop, it brings the authenticity of Venetian craftsmanship into your home.

This style of heavy, monochromatic ceramic cream glaze radial sunburst basketweave with high-relief fruit mimics classic mid-century European majolica and Capodimonte pottery

The soft cream color and the darker, collected glaze inside the deep crevices of the lattice indicate an older firing process common in mid-century mold pottery.

It is marked "Made in Italy" with an Incised with the model design number "1276".

It makes quite the impression--a very European farmhouse and grandmillennial interior decorating style.

Food-safe certified ceramic, dishwasher safe (delicate cycle). Not suitable for microwave or oven.
