Featuring a chromed metal frame and a white ABS plastic seat and backrest, they represent one of the most celebrated examples of Italian design from the late 20th century. The Plia model, awarded the Compasso d'Oro in 1971, has become an international icon thanks to its essential, elegant, and functional lines.
The chairs are practical and lightweight, fully foldable, and easily stackable, features that have made them extremely popular in both domestic and professional settings.
Both models feature the original "Anonima Castelli" logo stamped under the seat.
Good overall condition with normal signs of use consistent with age. There are some light signs of oxidation/rust on the lower part of the metal frame, and two black plastic rubber pads are missing from the lower legs.
