A stoneware trinket dish by roger guérin, dating from the first half of the 20th century. It features a brown base with shades of cobalt blue, brown, burgundy, and cream, showcasing a salt-fired enamel effect typical of the ceramic work of the belgian artist roger guérin.
the so-called "flamed" effects result from high-temperature firing in contact with salt and fire, creating unique and unpredictable surface variations.
