The ‘Elda’ chair is one of the most well-known designs. It is one of the first designs using the new material fiberglass in a great amount. The chair is named after his wife Elda.
The black fiberglass shell is fitted with the original white leather cushions that support the sitter from all sides. It has a rotating base.
This iconic chair is part of the collection of various museums worldwide.
The chair is good original condition. The leather is good with some normal traces of use, no damages, no crackles. The black fiberglass shell has little wear, like some superficial scratches and minimal spots with lacquer damage. All visible in the pictures. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
