The collection was originally launched in 1939 and proved so popular that the Baumritter Company changed its name to Ethan Allen. This piece has a rich nutmeg colored finish, darkened brass hardware, and wonderful craftsmanship.
It measures 19.25" wide, 8.5" deep, 22.5" tall, exposed mirror is 11.25" x 13.25"
The Ethan Allen Baumritter mirror traces its roots back to 1932 when Theodore Baumritter and Nathan Ancell founded the Baumritter Corporation. In 1939, they launched a Colonial-style furniture line named "Ethan Allen" after the Revolutionary War hero. These solid wood mirrors heavily feature Early American, Colonial, and occasionally Federal / Chippendale styles.
