A richly textured Chinese green glazed earthenware storage jar in the Hunan style, featuring hand-incised scrolling floral and geometric decoration beneath a deep mineral green glaze.
The compressed rounded form, dark kiln-toned interior, and naturally worn unglazed foot give the piece strong organic presence and rustic sophistication. Accompanied by a 2004 Hong Kong certificate describing the jar as an antique Hunan Province clay vessel, though the paperwork should be considered accompanying provenance rather than definitive authentication.
The earthy glaze variation and sculptural silhouette display beautifully within wabi-sabi, organic modern, Asian-inspired, or collected interiors. Includes fitted wood lid.
