This is an elegant antique Federal Hepplewhite style bowfront mahogany chest or dresser from the 19th century, likely 1820-1840. Elements of Georgian influence.
Features richly figured mahogany, satinwood inlay banding, graduated drawers, original brass pulls, and tapered French feet.
Beautiful early American craftsmanship with warm patina and timeless neoclassical proportions. Solid, sturdy, and fully functional with only minor cosmetic imperfections consistent with age.
