Art Deco faience jar with relief-decorated body and lid with a figural knob. Classic cream craquelé glaze with soft violet shading. Model no. 117/138. Origin: Denmark. Designer: Jens Jacob Bregnø. Manufacturer: Royal Copenhagen. Material: Faience with craquelé glaze. Dimensions: H. 13 cm, D. 17 cm. Period: 1930s. Condition: Very good condition, minimal signs of use. Jens Jacob Bregnø (1877–1946) was a Danish sculptor and designer associated with Royal Copenhagen and Bing & Grøndahl. During the 1920s and 1930s, he created striking Art Deco works characterized by elegant figurative motifs and refined craftsmanship.
