Thrown stoneware vase with crystalline glaze in shades of light blue and beige. The decoration forms an organic, almost floral pattern around the shoulder. Signed in monogram on the base. Origin: Europe. Designer: Studio potter. Material: Stoneware with crystalline glaze. Dimensions: H. 12 cm, D. 16 cm. Period: Late 20th century. Condition: Very good condition, minimal signs of wear. Crystalline glaze is an advanced ceramic technique in which crystals form spontaneously during high-temperature firing. The process requires great skill and precision and became especially popular among European studio potters in the latter half of the 20th century for its distinctive and unpredictable aesthetic.
