They are classic Louis XVI/Baroque design, characterized by the tall, rectangular upholstered back and imposing carved frame. They feature turned front legs with carved acanthus leaf details. Distinctive paw feet — a hallmark of Baroque Continental furniture. The elaborate carved H - stretcher with central acanthus cartouche is a particularly fine feature. See less
