This striking Chinese porcelain "heavenly bottle" vase (tianqiuping) features a globular body and a straight cylindrical neck, adorned with a dynamic underglaze blue and copper red dragon motif. The central design depicts a powerful, five-clawed dragon surging through a turbulent sea of swirling blue waves and stylized clouds, with its scales finely detailed in deep blue and its head accented in vibrant copper red. Decorative elements including auspicious flame symbols and a blue flaming pearl are scattered throughout the composition, visible from various angles. The base of the vessel, reveals a double-ringed mark in underglaze blue containing six characters that read "Da Qing Kangxi Nian Zhi," attributing the piece to the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty.
