"Beekeeper’s Daughter" is an established subject. It is full of symbolism and has great meaning for the artist.

It's not about the house or the dress.
It's about how it makes you feel when you look at it.
I created a place in this painting for you to return to again and again.
As I do, for warmth and comfort.

For the light is in the house.
Even on the hardest days, nature reminds us that we are resilient and we have the ability to heal ourselves.

*Please note the lovely, thick brushwork in some areas of the painting.

The gold vintage mid-century frame is a lovely finishing touch for this delicate painting. This frame is old and has some age-related wear and scuffs.
