Thomas K. Wesselmann ( 1931 - 2004 ) was an American born Jewish leading Pop artist best known for his paintings, collages, screen prints, and sculpture that stylized the female figure. Along with Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtnstein, Wesselmann is considered a major figure of the New York Pop Art Movement of the 1960's. His idiosyncratic style artworks aim to seize the viewer's attention, in making Figurative Art as exciting as Abstract Art while exploring classical representations of the nude, still life, and landscape, while incorporating everyday objects and advertising ephemera. Art works by Wesselmann are included in the collections of many of the world's most prestigious museums.

The rare out of print framed large Pop Art exhibition poster measures 40" W X 24 1/2" H X 1 3/8" D. It is custom framed with UV protective plexiglass in a Contemporary Modern brushed matte finish bronzed copper tone metal frame molding, with an attached hanging wire on the reverse back side for easy wall installation.

It is in excellent " like new " condition. The poster print is in excellent " like new " very clean condition consistent with age and light signs of handling.
