Elegant writing table or desk made on a diminutive scale in the French Louis Philippe taste. The table features an amazing parquetry inlay on the top and drawer fronts having geometric neoclassical style x-form designs. The case is fronted by two storage drawers with brass pulls and supported by round turned legs. The legs are conjoined on each side by square stretchers. Beautifully crafted with excellent joinery and craftsmanship that showcases the lovely fruitwood grain patterns and warm patina. The desk measures 23.5 inches from the floor to the apron.
