Massachusetts, New England Circa 1740-1760 two piece Queen Anne Highboy chest on chest in curly / flamed maple with cabriole legs on base - early dovetail and peg joinery. Beautiful, slightly diminutive piece showing signs of use for over 250 years. Repairs to legs, piece of drawer is broken, but the piece is included. Rich warm honey color. No idea if it was refinished or if brass pulls were replaced or not.
Simple, practical, and elegant version without needed any adornments.
Has been in the same family for over a century.
