A profusion of pastel coloured flowers and leaves are surrounded by a black floral border. Main colours are white/cream, lavender, pinks, various greens and baby blues, black with hints of beige and khaki.
Wool crewel work, cream background throughout - all chain stitched, this would have taken an inordinate amount of time to do. Off white cotton foundation support, 100% heavy cotton backing for structure. Not one area is not stitched!
This attractive piece can be used as a wall hanging, floor covering/rug, throw, blanket or incorporated into another piece of fabric. Many uses in the home.
