Here is a vintage Knoll Lighting lamp. A large-scale ceramic glazed body in a deep violet, navy blue color rests on a solid brass circular base. The oblong shaped ceramic portion features a wavy raised accent with an overall look influenced by Ettore Sottsass, the Italian founder of Memphis Style in the 1980's.
The color scheme of this piece not only lends itself to the current Memphis style revival but is also applicable to other modern interiors as well as nautical themes.

20"H bottom of brass base to top of brass connecting to socket
For style reference, the lamp shade shown in sample scene measures 11"Hx17"diameter, the harp is 9"H (not included).

Very little oxidation to the brass, which is not coated, so it can be polished periodically to renew the finish if desired. Fully functional, but I recommend professional rewiring of any vintage lamp.
