Striking vintage studio pottery bowl featuring a dramatic cobalt blue glaze with flowing white abstract forms reminiscent of ocean surf, cloud formations, or gestural brushwork. The bowl has a beautifully organic presence with rich tonal variation and expressive movement throughout the glaze.
Hand-thrown and artist-signed on the underside, though the signature remains difficult to decipher. The piece appears to date to the late 20th century and has the feel of West Coast or Pacific Northwest studio ceramics.
A substantial decorative bowl that works beautifully as a centerpiece, fruit bowl, or sculptural shelf piece in modern, Japandi, wabi-sabi, or California eclectic interiors.
The underside retains the original incised artist signature.
