Pair of Toga chairs designed by Sergio Mazza and produced by Artemide. Made of black fiberglass, these chairs are distinguished by their monolithic and sculptural silhouette, typical of the formal explorations of Italian design in the 1960s and 70s.
The Toga model plays on a simple geometry, where the continuous shell envelops the seat and back in a single fluid gesture. The fiberglass material reinforces the architectural aspect of the piece, while giving it a presence that is both light and graphic.
Condition: Good overall condition. Chairs repainted in black. Stable and solid structure, with no visible cracks in the fiberglass. Minor signs of wear consistent with age. This piece has an attribution mark,
