The tubular, chromed steel frame encases and supports the cushions. They have been reupholstered, with the cushions being remade inside and out, respecting the original shape and construction using a green tweed fabric. Robust and stable, in the style of designs by Sabot or Piazzesi, they are highly decorative and full of character. The steel has been cleaned and polished, and, as is to be expected, the passage of time and use has left some marks, but these do not detract from their beauty. See less
