A stunning piece of San Francisco history! This set of two San Francisco Cable Car prints is dated March 1947 and features the original gallery sticker from the famed Newbegin’s Bookshop (358 Post Street, opposite Union Square).
Newbegin’s was a landmark of the SF literary and art scene, and these prints are a testament to that legacy. Each 6.5" x 9" print is housed in its original 9" x 12" frame. The back of the frames retain the authentic Newbegin’s gold foil labels. These were found in their original "S.F. Gift Prints" wrapping, marked "Rare." Perfect for collectors of California history, transit enthusiasts, or fans of mid-century San Francisco.
