A beautifully crafted pair of vintage cane-back barrel armchairs in a classic French Regency / Hollywood Regency style, likely American-made circa 1970s.
These chairs feature a gracefully curved barrel form with woven cane sides and back, turned front legs, and a warm “Calais” finish. The frames are solid and well-constructed, with elegant proportions that work well in both traditional and modern interiors.
Original manufacturer tag remains intact underneath, noting “Decorative Chair” with Calais finish and original “Azure” upholstery designation.
The current upholstery (neutral velvet) shows wear and presents an excellent opportunity for customization—these chairs would be stunning reupholstered in bouclé, linen, or velvet.
