Originally made for ecclesiastical use, the bench features an elongated architectural silhouette with trefoil cutouts, turned supports, geometric carved detailing, and stretcher-connected legs characteristic of traditional Gothic Revival church furnishings of the period. Strongly influenced by medieval ecclesiastical forms, the bench carries a restrained monastic presence while showcasing exceptional provincial craftsmanship throughout.
