This striking Chinese eight-panel folding screen features a richly detailed, carved and hand-painted bird and floral scene set against a luminous gold ground with a black border. The reverse features a simple botanical design, carved and painted in the same pastel colors on a black background. Each 16" wide panel is supported by a brass bound foot. This is one of the most appealing screens we've had - visually stunning.
