This vintage Holland America Line cruise ship porcelain ashtray features an ivory glaze accented with the ocean liner's name written in it's traditional gold script font.
Manufactured by renowned Dutch pottery company Royal Sphinx (Petrus Regout) their logo is stamped on the bottom of the piece.
These pieces were provided in lounges or staterooms on famous transatlantic ocean liners and early cruise ships and were frequently kept by passengers as souvenirs of their travels.
