The figures are expertly rendered with expressive faces and traditional robes in a soft palette of iron red, cobalt blue, and celadon green, shown engaging in various activities like reading scrolls and holding sacred staves beneath the sprawling branches of a pine tree.

The vessel is designed with a robust, globular body and a wide, flaring rim decorated on the interior with a delicate floral vine border. Encircling the exterior neck is a continuous Ruyi cloud-scroll band in a muted plum tone, punctuated by a prominent four-character horizontal mark in underglaze blue. The composition is grounded by a tapered base and an unglazed, recessed foot, typical of heavy utilitarian export or garden porcelain from the late 19th to early 20th century.
