This Really is a Great Looking and Very Unusual Antique American Telescoping - Adjustable Size Bookend Rack. Circa 1910s. This is a Very Good Quality - Well Made Piece. It is Not Signed but the Maker can Easily be Attributed to the H. L. Judd Company. The ends are Made Out of Cast Iron and the Base - Sliding Rack is Made Out of Brass. The Ends Display a Bold High Relief Classic Native American Indian Chief in Full Headdress Profile with a Small Snake in the Upper Corner. It has Wonderful Detail in the Casting and Polychrome Hand Painted Features. It is in Excellent All Original Condition and it Displays Beautifully. No Damage - No Repairs.
The Adjustable Telescoping Feature Ranges in Length From 13 inches Collapsed to 22 inches.
The Cast Iron Ends Measure Approx
6 inches Tall .
6 1/2 inches Wide.
