This 19th Century Regency Australian Cedar Miners Couch (1860 - 70) was imported to the United States from Australia in the 1970s by the previous owner's sister.
The upholstery (a golden velvet) was redone approximately 3 years ago and and is in good condition, with little to no wear.
It's exceptionally rare for an Australian miner's couch to be in the US, so this is a wonderful opportunity for someone to acquire this beautiful example of mid 19th century Victorian furniture to your home or business.

There are some expected flaws, which I've included in the photographs. Please make note of these before purchasing. This piece is made out of both screws and wood pegs, so the buyer should expect to have to tighten things up when it arrives. Due to it's age, we would highly recommend you using a professional to help you ensure the piece is set up properly. less
