These chairs are high quality shop made examples of the Louis XVI style with all of the carving details of period chairs. The light gray painted finish is probably original and show a very pleasing unifor wear. They have been newly upholstered in a period appropriate gray and white stripe cotton fabric. The separate cushions are feather/down blend filled. The chairs were found near Bordeaux. See less
