Unique hand-built studio pottery vessel signed and dated “DOVE ’70” on underside. This highly sculptural ceramic piece features an organic freeform silhouette with textured carved detailing and an earthy flowing glaze in warm brown, cream, and charcoal tones.
The dramatic asymmetrical rim and brutalist-inspired surface treatment give the piece a strong organic modern aesthetic reminiscent of 1970s American studio ceramics.
