Mirror folds onto itself when not in use, folding down to an approximate 1.25 in thickness dimensions noted are the dimensions of each mirrored panel.
Chain is original should you wish to use it hanging from the wall. The 3 mirrors are quite heavy with the glass, you would definitely want to use proper anchors in your wall to support the weight. I preferred using it on a vanity as well as next to my sink vanity
